Sivers Semiconductors debuts maverick SATCOM array at MWC
Sivers Semiconductors is showcasing its new Ka-band Maverick antenna array and Cloudchaser chipset at MWC Barcelona, highlighting advanced SATCOM and 5G wireless technologies for higher data rates and lower latency.
Sivers Semiconductors AB is showcasing its latest satellite communications (SATCOM) and fixed wireless technologies at MWC Barcelona, March 2–5, 2026.
The company is presenting its high-performance Ka-band 576-element transmit antenna array, Maverick, which integrates the recently launched Cloudchaser chipset into a compact flat-panel design for electronically steered SATCOM systems.
Both Maverick and Cloudchaser chipsets are available for customer sampling. The company highlighted strong commercial interest from strategic SATCOM initiatives in Europe, the US, and Asia, citing projections that the serviceable market for SATCOM ground-terminal beamformers could reach $0.5 billion by 2030.
Harish Krishnaswamy, Managing Director of Sivers’ Wireless Division, said the company’s RF and mmWave solutions support higher data rates, lower latency, and greater system integration across 5G and SATCOM.
