Quantifi Photonics launches first PXI-based ELSFP solution for scalable CPO and PIC testing
Quantifi Photonics has introduced the ELSFP 1000 Series, the industry’s first PXI-based solution built on the External Laser Small Form-Factor Pluggable (ELSFP) standard, targeting scalable testing of co-packaged optics (CPO), photonic integrated circuits (PICs), and optical modules.
Announced ahead of its launch at Photonics West 2026, the system delivers multi-channel, high-power continuous-wave optical output designed for validation and manufacturing environments that require high channel counts and real-world power levels.
By combining the ELSFP implementation agreement with the industry-standard PXI form factor, the ELSFP 1000 Series integrates into existing test infrastructure while enabling dense, rack-friendly and scalable test setups.
Quantifi Photonics says the platform responds to growing demand for reliable external laser sources as CPO and PIC manufacturing ramps up, allowing test teams to simplify setups, closely match deployed network conditions, and accelerate development, validation, and production testing as ELSFP adoption moves toward mass deployment.
