izmo’s semiconductor subsidiary, izmo Microsystems, will showcase production-stage silicon photonics products and advanced packaging technologies at SEMICON India 2026.
The company will present a range of packaged photonic products, including a Quantum Random Number Generator module, a Quantum Key Distribution module developed for Pramatra, and a thin-film lithium niobate modulator packaged for CCRAFT.
The showcase will also feature photonic characterisation packages developed and manufactured by izmo Microsystems.
The company said its packaging capabilities allow it to convert photonic integrated circuits (PICs) into functional modules, an area that has historically relied on specialised facilities outside India. By combining package design, precision assembly and manufacturing within a single operation, izmo Microsystems supports customers from prototyping through to commercial production.
The company will also preview its next-generation optical transceiver portfolio, which is scheduled for commercial launch in 2027.
The products will be demonstrated at SEMICON India 2026, highlighting the development of silicon photonics packaging and module manufacturing capabilities within India.
