Coherent wins ECOC award for datacentre innovation
The company says its DLXTM optical circuit switch, which won the award, offers reduced, cost, power consumption, and latency
Coherent has won the 2024 ECOC Exhibition Industry Award for Best Product in the Data Center Innovation category for its Datacenter Lightwave Cross-Connect (DLXTM) Optical Circuit Switch.

According to Coherent, the DLXTM is based on the company’s field-proven and ultra-reliable digital liquid-crystal platform, which offers the three advantages of lower cost, lower power consumption, and lower latency.
