Senergetics wins Gerard and Anton Award

News

The company, which is developing integrated photonics sensors for monitoring the operations of plants in the process industry, has been recognised as a promising start-up by the award

Earlier this month, Senergetics, an integrated photonics sensors start-up, was presented with the Gerard & Anton (G&A) Award at the High Tech Campus Eindhoven. These awards seek to recognise the most promising start-ups in the Brainport Eindhoven region. The company said it is an honour to receive this award and be acknowledged as a valuable player in such a vibrant tech ecosystem.

Senergetics combines optic fibre sensors with PIC interrogators and data modelling to provide solutions for monitoring plants in the process industry. By monitoring energy efficiency and enabling early detection of problems such as corrosion and leaks, these solutions aim to make plants cleaner and safer, and avoid shutdowns by allowing for preventative maintenance.

Because this was the 10th edition of the G&A awards, winners 91 to 100 received an award. The 10 winners, which were selected from a list of over 70 companies, were: Vitalfluid, Upyther, Sirius Medical, TracXon, Senergetics, Veridis, Sandgrain, Dembrane, Whispp, and SCIL Nanoimprint Solutions.
