Synopsys to Offer Free PIC Software Design, Simulation Training
Annual PIC training by Synopsys will be 19-22 March at the Sheraton Airport Hotel, Brussels
Synopsys will present a four-day, free of charge training workshop on photonic design for PICs. The training is aimed at those interested in understanding the development of photonic integrated circuits (PICs) and the role of software automation in their design, simulation, and fabrication procedures.
During this hands-on training, participants will receive an overview of the latest status of the integrated photonics ecosystem, together with an overview of Synopsys PIC design tools for circuit and device simulation with Rsoft Device Tools and OptSim Circuit. Participants will also explore layout and verification with OptoDesigner and their important roles in integrated photonics design and manufacturing
