Driving the PIC Revolution: The complete PIC Design Flow Webinar

News

In this series of the "Driving the PIC Revolution" webinar, we focus on the complete flow of photonic integrated chip (PIC) design and manufacturing solutions featuring OptSim Circuit and OptoDesigner. The presenter will demonstrate the top-down design flow using OptSim Circuit for PIC schematic entry and simulation, and OptoDesigner for PIC layout and mask generation.

Please join us on one of these dates:

July 17, 2018, 11am CET (For EU and Asia audiences)

July 18, 2018, 6pmC ET (For U.S. audience)

One hour is planned for this webinar, including Q&A sessions.

What will you learn

Overview of the latest status of integrated photonic design ecosystem

Create and simulate PIC design schematic in OptSim Circuit

Generate netlist in OptSim Circuit to be used for mask layout design in OptoDesigner

Photonics Design Rule Checking (DRC) using OptoDesigner

Mask layout generation in OptoDesigner

What will you learn

The webinar is aimed at application and R&D engineers as well as managers interested in understanding the development of PICs and the role of software automation in their design, simulation, and fabrication procedures.
