Former Nokia CTO joins Coriant
Hossein Moiin to advise company on next-generation technologies and growth for the 5G era
Coriant, a network technology company, has announced that Hossein Moiin, former executive VP, CTO of Nokia and Nokia Siemens Solutions, has joined Coriant as a strategic executive advisor.
In his first role since leaving Nokia, Moiin will advise the company on next-generation technologies and architectures, market growth strategies, and end-to-end solutions for the 5G era.
Moiin brings over 30 years of global experience in the IT and telecommunications industries with proven expertise in driving technology strategy and architecture to ensure growth and profitability.
He holds several degrees including a Ph.D., M.S. and B.S. from the University of California, Santa Barbara in Electrical and Computer Engineering. In addition to his role at Nokia, Moiin had leadership roles at BT, T-Mobile International, and Sun Microsystems.
Furthermore, Moiin is a globally recognized innovation leader with proven expertise in strategic partnerships, network technologies, artificial intelligence, and solution delivery. Moiin is actively involved with the global innovation community and sits on the board of several companies and provides strategic advice to the leading venture capital firms in Silicon Valley and Europe.
